The new owners of this natural lake wanted to enjoy it from near and far.
It was very overgrown with the lilies, flag iris, bulrushes and elodea crispa having completely taken over through many years of neglect.
The consequence of this was areas of stagnation, high levels of tree debris and vegetation collection and a shallowing of the lake.
This work took several days but the effort is well worth it.
Dense areas of bulrushes Beginning to see the property from the lake Tackling the plants in waders Opening up the centre Halfway to completion Just one side left to tackle Completed clearance with open views Clearance and maintenance of an overgrown Lincolnshire lake. View to the property. Lake in Lincolnshire viewing ‘windows’ in willow trees
After completion the lake can be clearly viewed from the property and seating area and the view back to the property is just as good.
