We were asked to design a new wildlife pond in an area surrounded by an existing stone wall separating different levels of the garden whilst integrating it into a more usable area.
Our plan was to create a 5m x 4m pond and feed water to the higher elevation where we created an upper pool overflowing to a new natural looking stream, tumbling down a waterfall where water collected in a splash pool before returning down a further stream and back to the pond.
A rustic brick paved area was created for ample seating creating an enclosed world full of the sound water water and wildlife. Please click on images to see larger.
